Yellow Diamonds

Natural yellow colour diamonds are extremely rare and exceptionally beautiful, with only one out of approximately 10,000 carats mined being a natural fancy colour diamond. We take great pride in sourcing the most beautiful and rare gemstones, based on their extraordinary colour and exceptional beauty.

How Yellow Diamonds Get Their Hue
Yellow diamonds, partly also known as “fancy yellow”, distinguish themselves through their unique and rare hue. Their intense, luminous colour is caused by nitrogen atoms that penetrate the carbon lattice and change its light absorption and crystal lattice over billions of years. This results in a fascinating colour intensity.

Ethical Diamonds
As a family business, integrity and social responsibility are at the core of our sourcing practices. We are one of the very few Irish companies who buy direct from the bourse (the diamond trading floor in Antwerp). We inspect each diamond individually and validate it's associate certificates to ensure we know every diamond complies fully in accordance with the United Nations Kimberley Process.

The yellow diamond's nickname is a “canary diamond”. The name comes from a canary bird as the colour of the diamond evokes the image of the bright-colored yellow feathers. A yellow diamond is associated with happiness, joy, friends, love, and optimism.
