Santa Maria Afrique Aquamarine are stunning, rich ‘robin’s egg’ blue gemstones from Mozambique’s Zambezia Province, a country noted for yielding fine Aquamarines. The more intense coloured Aquamarines as exemplified by our Santa Maria Afrique Aquamarine are extremely rare and highly coveted.

A striking celebration of colour, light and refined craftsmanship, this exquisite trilogy ring centres on a certified natural aquamarine from Mozambique, cut into a beautifully elongated emerald silhouette. Its fine blue hue is crisp, luminous and serene. Santa Maria aquamarine is a rare and highly prized variety of aquamarine known for its deep, vivid ocean-blue color and exceptional clarity. It is considered the highest quality and most valuable grade of aquamarine on the market.

Flanking the centre stone are two natural trapeze-cut diamonds, expertly set to draw the eye into the aquamarine’s cool depth. Their geometric lines create a modern, architectural balance, adding brilliance without overpowering the hero stone.

Margaret Appleby first began our family business in 1950's Dublin, making jewellery in the family home for a select circle of customers. By 1960, she and her husband John had opened their first store at Johnson's Court.

Over the following decades Appleby became one of the best loved names in Irish jewellery. Our reputation was established on high standards of customer service and quality workmanship.

Our legacy as a family-run business for three generations represents the heart and soul of Appleby Jewellers. It's our name that is above the door and we endeavour to honour it in everything we do.
