The Bespoke Ring Process
At the heart of the Appleby workshop is an exceptionally skilled team of master goldsmiths, each bringing years of experience, craftsmanship, and quiet dedication to every piece they create.
Step 1
Consultation & Sourcing
Every bespoke ring begins with a conversation, you can arrange a personal consultation in our Dublin shop or an online consultation. We explore diamond or coloured gemstone options, style, and inspiration, guiding you through your options. We have three gemmologists with decades of expertise, and each stone is chosen for its beauty, brilliance, and longevity.
Step 2
Design & Craft
Working with the finest materials, from platinum to rich 18ct gold to carefully selected natural diamonds and rare gemstones, our craftsmen begin the process by hand. Sketches evolve into precise forms, settings are sculpted with care, and each stone is placed to maximise light, balance, and beauty. Nothing is rushed. Every curve, every claw, every finish is refined until it feels exactly right.
Step 3
The Dream Ring
The result is truly exceptional: a ring that is entirely your own, handcrafted here in Dublin.

Helpful support team
"Wishing to have an inherited ring restyled, I visited several Dublin jewellers who told me what I wanted. Not sure how they knew this as they didn’t ask or listen. I then went to Applebys and met Lais who treated me so respectfully and we discussed the options together and a plan came into being. Thank you - you are the best"
